Non-Invasive Permanent Fat Reduction
SculpSure is the first noninvasive liposuction system approved by the FDA for removal of fat in the belly and flanks. The system works by directing laser energy deep below the skin’s surface, heating fat cells and breaking them down without the need for suction and incisions. Laser energy is administered through a handheld device that features
a special cooling surface to keep the upper layers of skin comfortable during treatment. The energy delivery system is designed to ensure consistent application throughout the treatment zone for better results, and multiple areas can be treated in as little as 25 minutes. Most patients see initial results in six weeks, with optimal results at about 12 weeks after treatment.
It is clinically proven to reduce 25% of the fat cells in the treated areas within just 25 minutes.

The treatment itself is really easy. The machine alternates between a heating and cooling sensation, so patients are really comfortable throughout. They are a lot of times on their phone working on other things, so are watching TV here in the room. Some patients desire to have additional treatments a lot of times. They’re very happy with the results they’ve seen thus far and they want to continue kind of fine tuning their results.

Post-treatment Instructions:
- You may experience mild redness, tenderness, swelling, pain, itching and skin firmness.
- Tenderness may last up to two weeks or a bit longer in some patients.
- Use a cold compress and/or acetaminophen (Tylenol) to help relieve tenderness.
- Avoid taking NSAID (ibuprofen, Motrin).
- Gently massage the area twice a day for 5-10 minutes.
- You may resume normal daily activities including exercise immediately post treatment.
- Encourage proper hydration and light physical activity to help mobilize fat via the lymphatic system.

It has four applicators that can be customized to treat stubborn fatty deposits under the skin, and can easily accommodate all body contours. Intensely focused laser energy passes through the skin and melts the targeted fat cells which are removed over about 3 months by the lymphatic system.
SculpSure is noninvasive, and because it penetrates through the skin, the skin is not affected. There is no risk of skin damage. There is no risk of uneven results, but occasionally some patients develop nodules as the fat melts, but these typically resolve with time.
There are no known major risks, but some people may experience mild to moderate soreness for a few days after treatment. Other minor side effects like swelling, tingling, redness and tenderness typically resolve within a few hours of treatment.
