Microneedling + PRP
Microneedling is a form of collagen induction therapy. Tiny needle holes trigger your body’s natural wound healing response, causing an influx of growth factors to the newly injured skin. These growth factors trigger the production of collagen and elastin, essential proteins which help to plump and rejuvenate the skin. Patients notice improvements in skin tone, reductions in pore size, reductions in fine lines, reductions in acne, improvement in acne scars, and improvement in stretch marks.
Microneedling is often combined with PRP. PRP is “platelet-rich plasma”; a component of your own blood which contains a high concentration of these essential growth factors. Following the microneedling treatment, PRP is applied directly into the newly injured skin, adding healing properties directly into the tiny holes just created.

Microneedling is actually not very painful, even though the turned needle may suggest that it might be uncomfortable.

These needles in the pen, they make very superficial contact to the skin and they don’t penetrate deep where all the nerves are.

Furthermore, we actually do apply some numbing cream on the face prior to the procedure that adds to your comfort.

FAQs
You will see some immediate improvement after your injection of Sculptra however that is only temporary as the product is mixed with saline. After 1-2 day the water will be absorbed leaving the deposits of Sculptra to stimulate your own collagen production.
Typically, after the second treatment session patients begin to notice results. Therefore 2-3 sessions are required 1-3 months apart. Natural looking results appear over the course of 2-4 treatments
