No. You will not be able to feel the implant. The implant will be placed in-between your gluteal muscle; therefor, your own muscle will be palpable, not the implant.
No. Nhe implant is secure in the intergluteal muscle space. If the implant is placed on top of the muscle, it does have the potential to move or flip more easily.
We recommend avoiding putting pressure on the buttocks for 6 weeks. This is important to ensure proper healing and not to disturb the implant placement. There are special pillows and positioning devices that can be used to allow you to sit without putting pressure on the implant area.
Yes. One surgical drain will be required per side. They typically stay in place for 7-14 days.
No. Gluteal implants are made from a solid silicone matrix material. There is no fluid inside of them.
No. Since the implants are solid and not fluid filled like breast implants, they do not need to be exchanged.
It is recommended to abstain from sexual intercourse for 4-6 weeks depending on your healing progress.
